It contained 125 acres, well watered, with a convenient dwelling-house and a large barn. Also mentioned in the 1813 "FOR SALE" ad was an extensive apple orchard. He and Maria were buried in the Van Patten burial ground, Barheyt Road. They were removed to the First Reformed Dutch Churckyard Cemetery in 1962 circa 1780.
