He was promoted to the rank of Major in September 1918 and served overseas from Aug 1918 to May of 1919.3 He died on 25 October 1931 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, USA, at age 54. Obituary indicates he died from a cerebral hemmorage.5
