Cleo Milton Lowery1
M, #5577, b. 19 September 1893, d. 2 March 1955
He was born on 19 September 1893 in
Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA. SSDI indicates he was born 19 september 1900. My best guess is that he lied about his age at some point, possibly when he joined the Army in 1942.
2,3 He was the son of
Alonzo Albert Lowrey and
Ella Francelia Clore.
1 He married
Pearl Irene Rohrer on 22 October 1914 in
Chillicothe, Livingston, Missouri, USA.
4,1 He and Pearl Irene
Rohrer were divorced after June 1917. His WWI draft registration indicates he has a wife and son which impies he did not divorce yet.
2,1 He married
Margaret L Lannon on 28 May 1921 in
Franklin County, Ohio, USA; His marriage record indicats he was not married previously. I'm guessing he figured Ohio was far enough from Missouri to make it easy to lie about his previous marriage or there may be 2 Cleo Malton Lowreys, the first marriage record to Pearl Rohrer did not record the parents of the couple getting married.
5 He died on 2 March 1955 in
Norman, Cleveland, Oklahoma, USA, at age 61. His headtone indicates he was born on 19 september 1900 and SSDI reports that birth date also. Also his obituary indicates he was married to a woman named Fern. His application for headstone or marker was submitted by Bertha F Lowrey.
3,6,7,8,1 He was buried after 2 March 1955 in
Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Cleo's plot was located in Section E, Block 28, Lot 4, Space 3.
