Isabell Lowery
F, #33, b. 14 March 1792, d. 12 March 1862
She was born on 14 March 1792 in
Guilford County, North Carolina, USA.
2,3 She was the daughter of
John Lowery and
Hannah Vance.
1 She and
William Wortman obtained a marriage license on 15 February 1813 in
Stokes County, North Carolina, USA.
4,2,5 She died on 12 March 1862 in
Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA, at age 69.
3 She was buried after 12 March 1862 in
Ellis Cemetery, Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA.
3 She died on 12 March 1863 at age 70. The date on the headstone looks like 1863 to me, rather than 1862. Most data I've found indicates she died in 1862. Either:
1. She did die in 1863
2. The headstone was created some time after her burial and has an incorrect date
3. I can't read - but the lower portion of the last digit in the year of death looks quite different than the 2 in Mar 12 that preceeds it.
