He was probably born in 1586 in Roubaix, Lille Arrondissement, Nord, France.2,1 He was the son of Philippe du Trieux and Jacquelyn Unknown.1 He married Jacqueline Noiret circa 1615 in France.3 He married Susanne de Chesne, daughter of Pierre du Chesne and Anne Fabri, on 17 July 1621 in Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands.4,5,1 He immigrated on the New Netherland in 1624 to New Amsterdam, New York, New York, USA. This is not based on an extant passenger list but several researchers have reached a consensus that he arrived on that ship.6,7,1 He died between July 1649 and 8 September 1653 in New Amsterdam, New York, New York, USA.8,1
