Based on the 1950 census and Marian Chapman's obituary, it looks like he quickly divorced Lois and re-married his first wife.1 He and Lois Grace Steers were divorced before 23 October 1950; No divorce record was found but he died in 2001 so I am assuming they divorced before Lois married Roy Lathrop.2 He died on 27 June 2001 in Cheyenne, Laramie, Wyoming, USA, at age 90.2
