Father*Absolum Drury Adams1 b. 1809, d. a 1870
Mother*Nancy Frazier1 b. c 1812
He was born circa 1842. He was the son of Absolum Drury Adams and Nancy Frazier.1 He married Ellen Taylor circa 1876; 1900 and 1910 Census both indicate they were married 34 years. I belive the date on the 1900 census is an error, based on the fact that Soloman appears with his parents in the 1870 census and Ellen, his wife would have been 11 years old when they married if they were married in 1866.2

Census Information

He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of District 12, Letcher, Kentucky, USA, in the household of his parents, Absolum Drury Adams and Nancy Frazier.1 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Precinct 1, Letcher, Kentucky, USA, in the household of his parents, Absolum Drury Adams and Nancy Frazier.3 He and Ellen Taylor appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cumberland, Letcher, Kentucky, enumerated 4 June 1880.4 He and Ellen Taylor appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Rock House, Letcher, Kentucky, enumerated 14 June 1900. Their children Clinton, Nancy, Cornelia, Rufus, Guss and Maggie were listed as living with them.2 He and Ellen Taylor appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Precinct 3, Letcher, Kentucky, enumerated 3 May 1910. Their children Rufus, Guss and Maggie were listed as living with them, their grandson Shelby was also living with them.5
