Roger W. Gibson, 66, Goodland, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at his home.
He was born March 4, 1939, in King City, Mo., to Clayton and Beulah (Wall) Gibson. He graduated from a high school in King City in 1957.
He married Nancy Collier on Dec. 8, 1957, at Berlin, Mo. She preceded him in death July 3, 1999. He later married Shirley L. Collier Null on Jan. 4, 2003, at Maysville, Mo.
He was a retired over the road truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, James Gibson, Las Vegas; three daughters, Jan Thomson, Robesonia, Pa., Julie Whitsell, Maysville, and Jill Deeds, Goodland; two sisters, Sharon Hawman, Jefferson City, Mo., and Judy Gay, Savannah, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time Monday at Koons Chapel, Goodland; burial in Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain Time Sunday at the chapel.
