He and Maria were buried in the Van Patten burial ground, Barheyt Road. They were removed to the First Reformed Dutch Churckyard Cemetery in 1962 circa 1780.1,5

Mililtia. It is likely he was the sharpshooter who carried Claas' "Old
Hollander" flintlock into battle, a weapon prized by seven generations including Capt. Adam Conde of the Glenville Horse Artillery.
