She was born on 25 February 1829 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA.3 She was the daughter of Calvin M Williams and Mary Pursley.1,2 She married John Milton Lowery, son of Samuel Lowrey and Rachel Hannah Wortman, on 19 December 1848 in North Carolina, USA.4 She married John Milton Lowery, son of Samuel Lowrey and Rachel Hannah Wortman, on 26 October 1849 in Benton, Daviess, Missouri, USA. John Milton Lowery was recorded as Charlotte Murphy in the document. I don't know at this point if she had been previously married and Murphy was her married name or possibly the data supporting her last name as Williams is not correct.5 She died on 23 November 1916 in Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA, at age 87. Lowrey Cousins has a photocopy of the funeral notice.6,7 She was buried after 23 November 1916 in Old Town Cemetery, Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA.7

Their children Artelia, Charles and Calvin were listed as living with them.3 She and John Milton Lowery appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Benton, Daviess, Missouri, enumerated 9 June 1900, his nephew, James Hughes was living with them. James is his sister Eliza's son.11
