Source indicates Dearborn, Ia, near Laghery Creek but there does not appear to be a Dearborn County in Iowa and there is a Laghery Creek in Indiana on the border of Dearborn and Ohio counties. Probably in the mid-1800's Ia was an accepted abreviation for Indiana.2,4 He was buried after 20 September 1817 in River View Cemetery, Aurora, Dearborn, Indiana, USA.
