I found no records of a marriage and he lists himself as single in all other census data I found. His obituary doesn't mention Ethel. in 1900.2
- He died on 2 May 1951 in Cherry Valley, Otsego, New York, USA, at age 87. His obituary indicates that he was left partially blind from an illness contracted when he was 3 years old.4,3
