Entry indicates Elgin Ontario as place of death but Kingston Hospital is not in Elgin? Also, I am not sure this is the right William Atwood since he was remarried in 1913 in Massachusetts. The William in the death record was a widow farming in Canada which seems a pretty big change in only 3 years. So take this with a grain of salt.6,7

     Francelia Susan Austin was also known as Susan Francelyear.3 She was born on 13 June 1850 in Lawrence, Essex, Massachusetts, USA.4,1,2,5 She was born on 13 July 1852 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA. I believe that the birth record for Francilia Austin has the correct birth date, based on the 1860 census which indicates she is 10, rather than 8. It's possible that the child born in 1850 died young with no record. I didn't find any birth records in either Lawrence, MA where they were living in 1850 or Boston for a Francelia Susan Austin or similar.6 She was the daughter of Woodbury H Austin and Salina C Pattee.1 She married Barningham Lockey, son of John Lockey and Mary Raw, on 13 July 1869. 1870 census indicates they were married in July.7,2,8 She died on 22 August 1925 in Summit Twp, Clay, Iowa, USA, at age 73.9 She was buried on 24 August 1925 in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Clay, Iowa, USA.10,3

     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Rockton, Winnebago, Illinois, USA, in the household of her parents, Woodbury H Austin and Salina C Pattee.1 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Dubuque Ward 1, Dubuque, Iowa, USA, in the household of her parents, Woodbury H Austin and Salina C Pattee.7 She and Barningham Lockey appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Beaver, Grundy, Iowa, enumerated June 1880. Their children Bertha and Mary were listed as living with them.11 She and Barningham Lockey appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Summit, Clay, Iowa, enumerated 12 June 1900. Their children John, Thomas, Richard, Blanche, Harry and Francelyear were listed as living with them, Francelyear's Father Woodbury Austin is also living with them.2 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Fort Dodge, Webster, Iowa, in the household of her son, Harry Hazelton Lockey.12

He enlisted in Company A, Iowa 46th Infantry Regiment on 10 Jun 1864.
