He was a member of The Masonic Canton Lodge F A.M. and First Christian Church, where he was active in the Christian Mens' Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Leona (Slusser) of the home; two sons, Daniel of North Canton, and Larry (Janet) Paige of Canton; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie (Steve) Burkett of Pullman, Washington; four grandchildren, Danielle and Mitchell Paige of North Canton and Heather and Seth Burkett of Pullman, WA; three sisters, Edna Kline and Dorothy Shivers both of Louisville, Pauline Floyd of East Canton; brothers, Gene Paige of Alliance and Donald Paige of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Effa (Harding) Paige; and a brother, Merl Paige. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Karlo Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Manley Pierce officiating. Interment in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and one hour before services Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
