Lowrey and Emily Hand.1 He married Annie Eliza Silvey on 6 January 1885 in Daviess County, Missouri, USA; Annie is listed as married to Samuel A and his father Samuel E at the same time I don't know what is correct.3,2 He died between 1905 and 1910. His wife has a son Sammie 5 years old and she's listed as a widow in the 1910 census.4 He died on 24 February 1943 in Falls City, Richarson, Nebraska, USA, at age 80. This obituary is for Samuel E Lowery and lists a birth date of March 2, 1862 vs April 19. It mentions a marriage in 2885 to Anna E Silvers. It also indicates she died in 1907. I have a feeling they split up around that time. She reports herself as a widow in the 1910 census.5

Lowrey and Annie Eliza Silvey.1 In 1925 Samuel Arville Lowrey and Lucille Myrtle Berry lived on 17 S 12th, Lincoln, Lamcaster, Nebraska, USA. Lucille's son Richard was born December 30, 1925 and the father was listed as Tom E Furry. Possibly she left Samuel and then married Tom in 1925.4 He married Lucille Myrtle Berry, daughter of Maxine Doctor, on 2 November 1938 in Orange County, California, USA. Lucille appears in the 1930 census living with her mother Maxine (Doctor) Mckeown and stepfather. She is listed as single. Her son Richard is also living with them. I found another marriage record for Sam A Lowrey and Lucile B Furry in California in 1938, not sure if this is them, possibly a second marriage occurred.5,6 He died on 23 May 1965 at age 60.7 He was buried after 23 May 1965 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Samuel's plot was located in 7 A.8

Their son Richard was listed as living with them, Samuel's mothter Annie Eliza Silvey is living with him also, as Annie E Taylor. This suggests she may have married again, no record of a marriage has been located.9

Lowrey obtained a land patent for 40 acres of land under the Cash Entry Act of 24 Apr 1820. That act reduced the minimum price of public land to $1.25 per acre, and the minimum purchase to 80 acres, but required payment in cash, not on credit. His tract was described as the NE¼NE¼ of section 14, township 61N, range 29W of the 5th PM. Certificate number 15859 in Daviess County, Missouri, USA.5 He married Emily Hand on 13 January 1857 in Pattonsburg, Daviess, Missouri, USA.2,3,6 On 1 July 1857 Samuel E.
