The paper notes that Carl was a telegraph operator working in Benkelman but his home was in Barr, Colorado.3,1 She and Carl Emerson Beardsley were divorced before 1916; I found no record of a divorce. Carl was living in Denver Colorado with his married sister and mother on the 1910 census so they probably separated priorto 1910.4 She married Clarence Zala Matteson on 4 December 1916 in Phillips County, Colorado, USA.5 She died on 6 May 1951 in Jefferson, Greene, Iowa, USA, at age 71.6,2 She was buried after 6 May 1951 in Benkelman Cemetery, Benkelman, Dundy, Nebraska, USA.7

Their children Hazel and Asa were listed as living with them.10 She and Clarence Zala Matteson appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Benkelman, Dundy, Nebraska, enumerated 11 April 1950.11
