- He married Salina Page, daughter of Stephen M Page and Permelia Adams, on 14 May 1889 in Claremont, Elbert, Colorado, USA. The city is listed as Claremone in the typed record, it may be a transcription error from an earlier handwritten version but it's probably an error, I can't find any record of a Claremone, Colorado. I think this part of Elbert County became Kit Carson County around 1900. I believe the town of Claremont became Stratton at some point but I haven't found any specific record of the change. I did see a document from the city of Stratton that referred to the city as 'Stratton (Formerly Claremont)'.4,1,5
