M, #3969, b. circa 1822, d. 30 May 1875
- He was born circa 1822 in Ohio, USA.2
- He served for the Union during the Civil War in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry, Company A from 5 November 1864 to 14 July 1865. The 6th Wiconsin Infantry Regiment was know as the "Iron Brigade."3
- He died on 30 May 1875. His military headstone application lists his death as May 30, 1875 which is not consistent with a memorial plaque which states he died May 30, 1870. Since he appears in the 1870 US Census, age 45, in July of 1870, the death date of 1875 and the age on the memorial plaque are more consistent with an 1875 date of death.3,4,5
- He was buried after 30 May 1875 in Union Cemetery, Symco, Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA.6
