     Mary A Chandler Chandler may have been known as Mary A Leathers.2 She was born circa 1845 in New York, USA.3 As of 25 December 1865,her married name was van Patten.1 She married Albert John (Morgan) van Patten, son of William Henry Morgan and Laura Sibley, on 25 December 1865 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois, USA; John's mother died shortly after his birth and since he was from a large family, he was given to Peter and Naomi to take care of. Although he met his family later in his life, he took the Van Patten family name for himself.
