Funeral of Otis Hardee The funeral of the late Otis Hardee was held Wednesday afternoon at the home of the father of the deceased, North of the Indian school. Rev. Hermon P Williams, pastor of the Christian church, officiated, assisted by Rev. F H Culp. Interment was at Fairview cemetery. The deceased, a son of E P Hardee was born in Page county, Iowa, February 1, 1886. At the time of his death on January 16, 1911, he was thus nearly 25 years of age. At the age of 22 he fell a victim to the white plague. Hardee became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in Seattle, Wash. At the age of 21. April 1, 1911, (must be typo ) he went to Hagerman, NM and came from there here August 1 remaining here until death finally relieved his suffering, which was exceptionally severe.
