Mrs. Forrester was a proofreader for publishers. She was a member of Manchester Baptist Church. Born in Morrison, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Delores Cockrum Shanks. She was the wife of the late Levi Jackson Forrester. Surviving are four daughters, Diane Amspacher of Manchester, Ann Keeran of Biglersville, Irene Morris of Beaufort, S.C., and Sylvia Shriner of Lancaster; a son, Ronald of Westminster, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
