CHILLICOTHE -- Earl E. Forney, 80, of 1820 N. Cutright died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born April 5, 1914, in Streator to Horace and Bertha Weaklam Forney, he married Emma Price. She preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Kenneth of Galesburg; four daughters, Barb James of Chillicothe, Susan Forney of Peoria, Rosie Dunbar of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Carolyn Davis of Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Begner of Princeville; and several stepgrandchildren in the Chillicothe area.
He worked at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1974. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Weber Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Mike Hutchings will officiate. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
