    He was a retired over the road truck driver.
    Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, James Gibson, Las Vegas; three daughters, Jan Thomson, Robesonia, Pa., Julie Whitsell, Maysville, and Jill Deeds, Goodland; two sisters, Sharon Hawman, Jefferson City, Mo., and Judy Gay, Savannah, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time Monday at Koons Chapel, Goodland; burial in Goodland Cemetery.
    Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain Time Sunday at the chapel.
    Memorials are suggested to Hospice Service of Sherman County and can be left or sent to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
